What’s your class really like:
My Pilates fusion class touches on every part of the body to both strengthen and stretch for longer leaner muscles. My goal is to make you feel taller and stronger with a solid core and a deeper understanding of the brain body connection. I like to come from a functional foundation with a challenge at every corner!

I love the feeling of camaraderie while people start to take challenges in different positions. We all got this team!

I am also a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant so please feel free to share and ask questions about modifications! I would love to get to know each one of you on and off the mat. Come chat before/after class about any and all, whether that be about a specific injury or a special event in your life!
What's your class really like? A rhythmic and joyful movement journey into the deepest parts of you. More ray of sunshine, less drill sergeant. Always with a cycling science foundation to get you stronger class to class and feeling invincable. I've also been known to break out a slick theme ride or two (Game of Thrones, Battle of Bands, Awards Season, and Tour de Brooklyn)
What's your music vibe? Music is the soul of my class. Always beat driven, moving and mind expanding. Love electronic, hip hop, indie rock, house, UK drum and bass and African drums. Always and forevers: Disclosure, Lizzo, A Tribe Called Quest, Beyonce, Prince, Robyn, Fleetwood Mac, Queen. Requests always welcome!
Life beyond BYKlyn: Working actor, comedienne, writer, and former dancer. Lover of the mountains, lakes, hiking, stand up paddle boarding and the national parks. I am also a certified running coach and Pilates instructor. Passionate about cross training, fitness functionality and moving in ways where you honor your body over your ego.

Obsessively curated playlists are my guilty pleasure. I might take you uphill by way of 80's rock, and then into downhill interval sprints on beat with Gaga and friends. In my class, you may sing, you may dance, and yes, you may ask me to share the playlist!
Favorite part about class:
I’m all about the end. Count on me for a good finale - the ‘Go Home’ energy that builds up until we all just cash out, floor it and hit the end. The juicy feeling of empowered as we build to that moment? It really is worth the squeeze, literally. Let's go!

Fun facts: I'm a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, 200hr Yoga Teacher, Kettlebell Coach, and a doctoral student at Vanderbilt (aka: forever nerd). I'm also a proud mom of two cool little humans, and a public educator of 14 years. I'm also a big fan of true crime, bookstores, cheese, and children (mine and yours), surfing, and succulents.
